For our office in Petershausen/Germany we are looking for a motivated

Accounting Specialist (f/m/d)

Your tasks

• Responsible for journal entries (Accounts Receivable, - Payables and G/L accounts), reconciliations of accounts
• Responsible for settlement of payment transactions and bank statement postings
• Responsible for dunning process
• Supporting preparation of the regular month-end/year-end closing tasks and relating reporting
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Master data maintenance, filing and management of invoices & other documents
• Participation in further development of finance processes, in particular their automation, as well as responsibility for sub-projects after successful familiarization

Your professional qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial education, ideally as tax clerk
• Solid working experience as accountant specialist
• Solid knowledge of local statutory accounting (HGB), VAT, wage tax and social security law
• Experience in dealing with ERP system “mesonic WinLine”, as well as IFRS knowledge are a plus.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel as well as in-depth process understanding of accounting processes
• Fluent in German and English for intercompany reconciliations are a must
• Enjoy working with numbers, strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Independent worker able to deliver in time
• Hands-on mentality combined with a team player attitude
