In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Consultant specializing in DevSecOps, you will analyze clients' IT environments to achieve better efficiency using DevOps tools and methodologies. You will design and propose DevSecOps automation adoption roadmaps, architect DevSecOps tooling infrastructure, and provide mentorship to DevOps Engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Analyze Client Environments: Technically analyze clients' IT environments to identify areas for improvement and propose DevSecOps solutions to increase efficiency.
• Design DevSecOps Roadmaps: Prepare gap analysis documents and design proposed DevSecOps automation adoption roadmaps for clients, covering both Dev and Ops requirements.
• Architect Tooling Infrastructure: Define the DevSecOps tooling infrastructure and interface requirements for integrated tool sets and platforms.
• Mentor DevOps Engineers: Provide guidance and support to DevOps Engineers in solution delivery, build, test, deploy lifecycle activities, and application performance management.
• Research Emerging Technologies: Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and market trends to inform project and solution offering development activities.
• Exposure to DevSecOps Methodologies: Experience working with DevSecOps tools and methodologies in traditional or cloud environments, analyzing client IT environments to identify areas for improvement.
• DevSecOps Tooling Expertise: Familiarity with designing and implementing DevSecOps tooling infrastructure, defining interface requirements for integrated tool sets and platforms.
• IT Environment Analysis: Exposure to performing technical analysis of clients' IT environments to propose DevSecOps solutions and increase efficiency.
• Automation Adoption Planning: Experience with preparing gap analysis documents and designing proposed DevSecOps automation adoption roadmaps for clients.
• Emerging Technology Research: Exposure to researching and evaluating emerging technologies, industry trends, and market trends to inform project and solution offering development activities.
• Cloud Environment Knowledge: Exposure to working with DevSecOps tools and methodologies in cloud environments, analyzing client IT environments to identify areas for improvement.
• DevSecOps Platform Integration: Familiarity with integrating DevSecOps tools with various platforms, defining interface requirements for seamless integration.
• Emerging Technology Evaluation: Exposure to researching and evaluating emerging technologies, industry trends, and market trends to inform project and solution offering development activities.
